| Untitled 1
A simple document with pictures defining the basics in label sizes. The core
of the roll inner core and outer must match the printer. Most printers have a
spool that goes through the center and a restriction in height of the roll,
since it would hit the casing.

Fanfold can be used in most tabletop printer which feeds from outside the
printer. One of the big issues with Fanfold is that the top layer of the label
is exposed to dirt, dust, and other contaminents because it is sitting with
printer side up out in the enviornment. Printheads seem to last a much shorter
time with Fanfold, under those conditions.

The liner specs are not mentioned but typically that is continuous liner or
liner with a perf(tearable which is usually preferrable).
The other main item is paper or synthetic when Thermal Transfer(ribbon used).
Synthetic would have more durability if the label is subject to outside or rough
conditions.
Direct Thermal or heating the label to make it print is usually paper. These are
usually used for short term label such as shipping applications. No ribbon is needed.
